The Community Gardens are maintained by the Petawawa Horticultural Society for any member in good standing with is, that is interested in having a plot of land for growing. The fenced in gardens are accessible 24/7 by authorized gardeners and are located behind the Petawawa Library. Access and use is restricted to members only. If you have not renewed or signed up for membership, please complete the membership form.
Gardeners from last year will have first opportunity to obtain their plot(s) for this year but must notify us before April 21st, if they wish to continue using them. Rototilling is available upon request. Jack will inform the gardeners assigned a plot, when the gardens will be accessible. This is typically at some point in May. This is a spring cleanup (date TBD). At this time, you will be shown where your plot is set, where/how the hoses are to be kept, etc.
