Who Are We?

Founded in 1997 by Gordon and Doris Strathy, the Petawawa Horticultural Society (PHS) is a non-profit organization within Petawawa, Ontario.

With over 250 members, we are an enthusiastic group of volunteers who share an avid interest in gardening and are dedicated to the beautification of the town.

The PHS is affiliated with the Ontario Horticultural AssociationDistrict 2.

Our goal is to cultivate an interest in horticultural within the community. As a group, the society develops flower beds, plants trees, maintains community garden plots for member usage, contributes to the Millennium Trail project, contributes to the beautification of the Home Fires Park on CFB/ASU Petawawa, Limestone Park and other parks around Petawawa.
