Our Annual General Meeting is about more than just reports and planning for the year ahead – it’s a chance to celebrate the people who make our horticultural society so special!
Join us as we look back on another wonderful year of gardening, community involvement and shared experiences, while discussing what’s ahead for the Petawawa Horticultural Society.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
🌱 Celebrating Our Members – We’ll be recognizing and presenting service pins to members who have been part of our society for 5, 10, 15, 20 and even 25 years!
🌱 Help Shape Our Future – We’re looking for members interested in joining our board as Members-at-Large. These board members bring fresh ideas, share perspectives, help with planning and decision-making, and support the society’s activities. It’s a great way to get more involved without taking on a specific executive position.
🌱 A Little Something to Take Home – We’ll have plant cuttings and seeds available for attendees. You’re also welcome to bring along any extra plants, cuttings or seeds you’d like to share with fellow gardeners!
🌱 Christmas Dinner Tickets – Tickets for our upcoming Christmas Dinner will be available for purchase at the AGM for $25 each.
🌱 Refreshments & Social Time – Enjoy some refreshments, catch up with gardening friends, meet fellow members and share a little gardening inspiration.
Whether you’ve been a member for 25 years or just joined this year, your participation matters! Our society is built on the enthusiasm, ideas and contributions of its members, and we’d love to see you there.
