2024 OHA District 2 Photo Competition

The District 2 Photo Competition is back in 2024 but take your photos now! The submission deadline for digital photos is March 15, 2024. Here are the classes:

Class 1: First Signs of a Spring Garden – a photo of a mass of spring flowers with more than 2 colors. Can be in your own garden or a public garden.

Class 2: Rock Garden – a photo of a rugged rock garden showing different textures and heights.   Can be in a private or public garden or alongside of a natural pond or lake or along the roadside or a hiking trail.

Class 3: Close-up of an Insect on a Flower – a photo of an outdoor flower with a visible insect of any kind. Must be an outside plant, not an indoor plant. 

Class 4: A Fruit Tree, Bush, Vine or Patch with Blossoms – a photo of a fruit tree, bush, vine or patch in full bloom. Can also be a closeup of the blossom itself.  In a public or a private garden. Examples could include Apple, Pear, Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Grapes, or Plum

Class 5: A Magnolia Tree in Full Bloom – a photo showing the beautiful blooms of a magnolia.  Can be in a private or public garden. 

Class 6: A Clump of Birch – a photo of more than one birch tree showing its white bark beauty.
