Seedy Sunday
March 3, 2024 @ 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

17th Annual Ottawa Valley Seedy Sunday. The Petawawa Horticultural Society will have a booth there, so please email if you are interested in participating as a member otherwise, hopefully we will see you there.
The heart of a Seedy Sunday event is the swapping and sale of seeds of landraces, folk varieties, farmer varieties and heritage seed. Sharing information about the social, cultural and culinary aspects of the seed is an important part of heritage seed saving around the world.
The Seedy Sunday event is completely full with vendors! It’s a packed house! In addition to 35 artisans, vendors (including the Petawawa Horticultural Society) and local farmers, there will be:
Ø Silent Auction fundraising for Seeds of Diversity
Ø Children’s table
Ø Soundwaves’, Steven O’Brien, local music performer
Ø Lunch offered by Griffith Farms
